What are the different types of Rubber Stamps?

Rubber Stamps can be broadly classified into 3 different types depending on how it works and how it is applied, they are as follows:

1. Traditional Rubber Stamps: This is the oldest style of rubber stamp, as the name itself implies, the engraved rubber is stuck on a traditional mount (handle). The Traditional Rubber Stamp requires a separate ink pad to use the stamp. To apply the stamp first ink the stamp on an ink pad and then stamp it.

   Traditional Rubber Stamp can be made on 3 different type of mounts as follows:

   Tradition Vue Rubber Stamps (Plastic Mount): Vue Stamps are mounted on a plastic handle and is generally the lowest priced range of rubber stamp. The sizes in the Vue Stamp category ranges from 13 mm x 10 mm up to 101 mm x 63 mm

   Custom Wood Mount Rubber Stamps: Custom Wood Mount Rubber Stamps are mounted on a custom cut wood mount, these are custom made in our factory and we can make any size from a very small size to as large as 150 mm x 150 mm depending on your requirement.

   Rocker Mount Rubber Stamps: Rocker Mount Stamps as the name indicates is mounted on a rocking or curved metal mount (unlike other stamps which are mounted on a flat base). Rocker Mount Stamps are ideal for extra large size rubber stamps for industrial application, for stamping on Pizza Boxes, branding on Cartons etc. We can make Rocker Mount Stamps up to a A4 size. We also have ink pads to match up to an A4 size.

2. Self-Inking Stamps: Self Inking Stamps are an easy to use, no mess type of stamp that has an inbuilt ink cartridge in the stamp itself so unlink the traditional rubber stamps the self-inking stamp does not require a separate ink pad. 3. Pre-Inked Stamps: Pre-Inked Stamps are a different type of self-inking stamp; it is made differently and works differently to the self-inking stamps. In Pre-Inked Stamps the rubber is not engraved instead the artwork is photo flashed onto the rubber resulting in a crystal-clear impression. Pre-Inked stamps are ideal for artworks with intricate designs or very fine prints as the photo flash will capture even the minutest of the details. Pre-Inked Stamps also comes in a wide variety of sizes and shapes. It also comes in extra-large sizes up to 130 mm x 90 mm.
